Discovering sourdough was a very good thing. These waffles are some of our favorites! From the kitchen of Joanna (Marini) Dindinger: “This is a delicious, healthy soup I love in the Fall, especially, as a main dish with crusty bread and salad, or as an elegant first course before a roast chicken with potatoes, perhaps.”

Savor the flavor of fall!

Today I have another great recipe to share with you from a friend! Joanna is known to be a really great cook and baker. (I think she’s naturally good at about anything she tries!=)) I recently ordered some of her homemade soaps and have been loving them!

I have so many more things I want to try converting to sourdough! I’m far from an expert but I’m learning. Continue reading “Glazed Sourdough Donuts”

And then I discovered this method…so easy, so good, and perfect for Sunday lunch! Continue reading “Perfect Roasted Chicken”

Apple Pie Scones {with Maple Glaze}

img_6150

So I took a traditional scone recipe and fall-erized it. Think apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and the most amazing maple glaze with more cinnamon. These taste like apple pie in the form of a flaky and buttery scone. These are melt in your mouth delicious.
